ETEC Projects

Below are various projects I completed as part of Cal State Long Beach's ETEC 444 course on Digital Technology in Education. Each project has a description of the assignment and my submission.
ETEC 444 Google Forms Project: Create an assessment for your future students in Google Forms.
  • Your assessment should have at least 9 questions.
  • Your assessment should meet the following criteria
  • Use at least one each of the following question types: multiple-choice, checkboxes, short answer, drop down, and linear grid.
  • Use the auto-grading feature with at least 3 questions. Assign point values to each question. Only certain question types can be auto-graded. Please add a "*" after each question that is auto-graded:
    • Checkbox grid
    • Multiple choice grid
    • Dropdown
    • Checkboxes
    • Multiple-choice
    • Short answer

ETEC 444 WebQuest Evaluation:

Use the QuestGarden Search Page to find WebQuests you might be interested to use in your teaching. Choose one of your WebQuests to evaluate in detail. Use the rubric to evaluate your WebQuest. Now, write an evaluation of your WebQuest from each of the four perspectives used in the class activity.

ETEC 444 Screencast Project:

Select an appropriate scholarly search engine or database you would like your future students to use while investigating a topic for an assignment.  Decide on what you want to teach your students about this database and plan a video with your students as the audience. Use PowerPoint or other slide presentation software if you have material about your assignment to explain. This is more effective than talking at length with a shot of your desktop or a search engine.
ETEC 444 Copyright Ethics Activity:

In your group, please discuss and come to a determination whether each item on this document is ethical, unethical, or a crime.  Write your answer and a short rationale after each question. Each of you submits a copy of this sheet to the dropbox.
